Baby Grendel Announces Summer 2026 Tour

The band will revisit california and make its first journey to the southeast!

Catch Colleen on the road with Baby Grendel throughout the month of July alongside their fellow touring band, Star Eyes. To kick off the tour, Baby Grendel will return to Hallowed Halls in Portland for their release show celebrating their new EP Timeless (Do Flowers Grow on Barren Land).

Baby Grendel releases two new singles

"12 Bulls" and "Nocturama" both released in May, 2026

Featuring Colleen Johnson on keys and vocals alongside fellow Baby Grendel band members Jonathan Suarez (guitar, vocals), Andrew Cardenas (bass), Tomás Sakatani (lead guitar), and Alonzo Watson (drums), "12 Bulls" and "Nocturama" were recorded at Hallowed Halls in Portland, Oregon. They are the second and third singles from Baby Grendel's upcoming EP that will be fully released in June.

Baby Grendel Performs for Local Access Television

Filmed by Open Signal in partnership with Local Roots Music NW, two episodes were filmed to air in May and June

Colleen Johnson joined her band Baby Grendel to perform for the Portland Voices of the Community program available on local access cable television. Portland Voices of the Community features the profiles and performances of local musical artists, including members of marginalized communities. Two episode were produced in partnership with Local Roots Music NW featuring performances by local musical artists of the band Baby Grendel. They will air on cable television May 18th and June 1st, 2026 and are available on demand on YouTube.

Baby Grendel Returns from Winter Tour with a New Single

After touring the west coast for the second time, Baby Grendel released their new single "Timeless"

Recorded at Hallowed Halls in Portland, Oregon, "Timeless" features Colleen Johnson on keys and synth. She is joined by Baby Grendel frontman Jonathan Suarez on vocals and guitar, Andrew Cardenas on vocals and bass, and Alonzo Watson on drums. "Timeless" is now available for purchase on Bandcamp and is streaming everywhere.

She writes songs about loving women and is committed to queer visibility, community, and self-expression. She is based in Portland, Oregon and is keyboardist and backing vocalist for PDX art rock band Baby Grendel.
